ABOUT THE BOOK

A RIVER OF GOLD is a collection of twenty essays, narrating the life experiences of an individual character in a series of developments and judging the consequence of his actions in relation to what happens in the society. From the first essay, the character appears to be a little child under the care of parents but by the last essay, the character appears to be a nation moving towards revolution. All through the book, the character is referred to as "SELF". The experiences are expressed in a mystic tone and the essays are written in a poetic style with an average of eighty-four lines each and all written in simple straight forward English. Every one can read it and enjoy it. As for those who will like to look in between the lines, it will be an interesting puzzle to uncover.
