ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Lori Ann Shevokas is best known for her previous collection of poetry: HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS, BUT WHERE IS THE HEART. To the online writing community, she is better known as natural_spring or cryptogirl76. Her first individual publication was in 1991. Brookhaven High School's 1993 literary magazine, THE ODYSSEY, featured an abundant supply of poetry from Ms. Shevokas. In 1995, Shevokas married, and took on her husband's name, Mullins. Work registered with The International Library of Poetry is under both names. After playing the "name game" for ten years, this poet has returned to her given name, Lori Ann Shevokas. The name may change, but the poet remains the same.
