by Steven Michael SykeS
Written in a flury of writer's trance back in 1992 when I was young, dumb, and learning what not to do. Part song lyrics, part poetry, all me at the tender age of 22. I have not written with such fervor to make these poems, in a long, long time. I have always written poetry with the hope to put it to music someday. These are about my life, love, and mental state at the time. I hope you can relate to at least one of them, they came from a poison pen, and we have all held those from time to time. There are also rays of hope, with renewed confidence in mankind, and the fact that we are all GOD'S children. Keep in mind that I wrote these in hopes of becoming a rock star, overdosing, and leaving a couple of albums worth of material. I never get what I want.
About the Author
