ABOUT THE BOOK

"Welcome to America, the land of the free and home of the brave. The land where no one will be prosecuted because of their dreams, ideas or beliefs. The land where under law everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty." These words have held hope for so many people since the inception of our country. They were the ideas put into play by our great forefathers like George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Jackson and others. What would those ancestors say now if they could see what agencies of our government has become? They would be horrified because our government now is interested only in the almighty dollar. The government doesn't care about morality, justice or any other code our forefathers lived by. Now it preys on its own citizens, relying on little known laws or any other method to rob the very citizens it is suppose to protect. How can I say this? Because I am one of those victims, and this book is my story of what happen to me - an ordinary, law-abiding citizen who always did everything possible to uphold the law, respect it and abide by it. The government would argue what they did was absolutely legal. Perhaps... technically... it was, but morally they are guilty as sin and did a more criminal act than when they accused me of committing a crime. I started with the beginnings of my life in order for you to get to know me and what I believed, and it takes you through the dark days when the government destroyed not only my business, my reputation but my life as well. It transformed me from a loving, caring, and confident woman into a lonely, scared and terrified person who dreads going outside the door for fear they will find something else to blame on me. It will show you how the lawyer I hired didn't represent me as I should have been represented in a court, but rather 'sold me down' the river so he could focus on his 'big-bucks' clients. Read this book with care. Everything in it could happen to you one day. Read it and beware where you put your trust. And if it does happen, read this book to see how I managed to save my sanity and soul from being destroyed along with everything else.
