ABOUT THE BOOK
Danny and Yvonne spent 4 lovely days in this majestic capital city and were enchanted with what they saw. It was National Holiday which celebrated the 60th year since China had become a republic on 1st October 1949. Not only did they learn so much about this cosmopolitan city but more importantly they learnt about themselves in a long term relationship. According to Danny and Yvonne 'The Chinese People' are also depicted as a nation with much wisdom or A Light unto the Nations in the Land of Milk and Honey.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Yvonne Wu was born in December 1968 in a small rural village in Northern China. In 1989 after her graduation from her university Yvonne entered a national trade company which finally went into administration (bankrupt) in 1999. So she had to change her job and learn how to learn IT and English to survive. Yvonne in her recent period made a connection with a certain UK national. His name is Mr. Danny Teller who likewise was looking for a trustworthy and loyal companion. No doubt Yvonne is resolute in her belief that the fate and fortune of individuals is related to the country's fate. Now they are sharing an apartment in a large city in North China called Tianjin. Danny Teller is a UK National born in 1964. He lived in the UK for most of his childhood before moving to Israel where he resided for nearly 20 years. After leaving Israel he spent some time in America before moving to Nepal to teach English to children in a school for nearly 6 months. For the last 6 or 7 years Danny returned to the UK where he spent time in the publishing world and improving his knowledge of IT. More recently after making many trips in Africa, Asia, America and Europe he is currently residing China with companion Yvonne Wu.
